Welcome to CantoParty ("we," "us," or "our"). Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information within the app. We are committed to complying with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of the Laws of Hong Kong.

We collect information in two ways: automatically when you play, and voluntarily if you choose to create an account.A. Non-Personal Data (Automatically Collected) To improve gameplay and app stability, we use third-party tools (such as Google Firebase) to collect anonymous usage data. This may include:

• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID, IDFV).
• Usage Data: Game scores, levels completed, session duration, and interaction events.
• Crash Logs: If the app crashes, we collect data on the crash (via Firebase Crashlytics) to help us fix bugs. This includes stack traces and the state of the app at the time of the crash.

B. Personal Data (Optional Cloud Save) You may play CantoParty entirely without registering. However, if you wish to back up your progress or sync it across devices, you may choose to create an account.

• What we collect: An email address or username, and a password (or authentication token).
• Purpose: This information is used strictly to identify your game records (scores, inventory, levels) on our servers and allow you to retrieve them. We do not use this email for marketing or promotional purposes without your explicit consent.

We use the collected data for the following lawful purposes:

• Game Functionality: To save your progress and restore your in-game records upon login.
• Analytics & Improvement: To understand how users play the game, identify popular features, and fix technical issues (using anonymous aggregated data).
• Advertising: To display relevant advertisements through third-party networks (see Section 4).

We employ third-party companies to facilitate our service. These parties have access to your Non-Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

• Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements.
• Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics): For user behavior tracking and crash reporting.

These services may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies.

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy.

• Game Records: If you create an account, we store your game progress until you request account deletion.
• Anonymous Data: Usage data is retained for a limited period as defined by our analytics providers (e.g., 14 months) and then automatically deleted or anonymized.

Our servers and third-party service providers (like Google) may be located outside of Hong Kong. By using the app, you consent to the transfer of your data to these jurisdictions, where data protection laws may differ from those in Hong Kong. We take all reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely.

We implement standard industry security measures (including encryption and secure protocols) to protect your personal data and local game files against unauthorized access, processing, or erasure.

Under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to:

1. Check whether we hold personal data about you.
2. Access a copy of such data.
3. Correct any data that is inaccurate.
4. Request Deletion of your account and associated data.
